didgeri-what?

August 26, 2009

Allow me to disgress from my usual subjects and if you’re not interested, please fell free to skip to the next post. I’ll keep it short though. About 10 days ago I had the chance to see a private show of a didgeridoo player, one of the 10 best players in the world, as I was told. There were 6 of us in the living room of a very good friend of mine and it was our surprise to her bachelorette party, since she was not really interested in a gogo boy or something like that. The music was unlike anything I’ve heard before, the performance was impressive. As he played he last piece, we all fell compelled to stand up and dance, trying to do tribal moves. We had a chance to chat with the artist afterwards and he’s really nice, too. If you’re curious about it, visit him and hear a bit of his music here.
